On this Father’s Day, the Dad of our household requested a quick trip across the sound to Bainbridge Island. We really only had a couple of hours to spend in town given Bergen’s (22 months) late wake-up time, and of course the need to get back home in time for his nap. Yes, everything continues to be scheduled around the sleep of this little guy.
Thanks to the Chinook book (no partnership or affiliation here, just love to save money & brag about it), we saved quite a bit on our mini-adventure.

Happy Father’s Day! Great way to celebrate with a family adventure, that included sunshine and ice cream.

Thanks, Martie! Exactly. Everything’s better with sunshine and ice cream, right?
