My kids and I went on a self-guided walking tour in Seattle’s Central Distrct/Area (part 1) of parks and facilities named in honor of African Americans in our community (and beyond)!

Black History in Seattle’s Parks Part 2
The whole family hopped on bikes for part 2 of our recognition of notable African American in Seattle’s history. We visited 7 more parks, and learned about civil rights activists, public servants, and community leaders who have made a difference in shaping our fine city.
