We are in the home stretch of winter here in the Seattle area.  This is just about the time where we start to get restless, and long for a warm weather destination!  Luckily we have a respite coming up in just a few weeks. While spring will bring us more light, new growth, and a little more warmth, the rain will stick around.

It’s been awhile since we have shared suggestions for rain gear.  In order to give a rundown of our recommendations and also allow you to see the gear in action, I put together a video highlighting a few favorites.  The kids and I were meeting friends at a local park, so I took some time before and after the hike to talk about how we stay dry and comfortable while hiking in the rain.
